Raymond Poincaré

Biography

French politician, he served as Prime Minister of the Third Republic for four terms, and as President during World War I.

An expert financier and ardent nationalist, he was called a "Savior of the franc" for his measures to stabilize the economy.

Poincaré died on 15 October 1934, Paris, France.
