German dermatologist, chief physician at the Schwabing hospital in Munich, and lecturer in dermatology and venereal diseases, who wrote the 1931 book, Die Wassermannsche reaktion in ihrer bedeutung für die spezielle pathologie und therapie der syphilis (The significance of the Wassermann reaction for specialist pathology and therapy of syphilis). He died on 22 July 1954 in Munich, aged 72.
