Biography
Peruvian fiction writer and cultural journalist, selected by the Guadalajara International Book Fair 2011 as one of the 25 best-kept secrets of Latin American literature. Planas is recognized as one of the most prominent Peruvian storytellers of the 1990s generation. His novels and short stories share oppressive atmospheres, fragmentary narratives, identity conflicts, and inquiries into the female condition.
