Mexican football/soccer player who plays as an central midfielder and right midfielder for Pachuca of the Liga MX. He rose through the ranks of the Pachuca youth team. He made his debut on 14 September 2012 coming in on as a substitute in the 71st minute in a 3-2 win over Morelia. He made his first start on 3 October 2012 in a 2-0 loss at Puebla and has become a regular starter since.

On 29 January 2014 he made his debut for the national team in a friendly game against South Korea where he played the 90 minutes. On 9 September 2014 he played for 78 minutes against Bolivia.

On 18 September 2015 Rodolfo Pizarro was selected by coach Raul Gutierrez to play in the 2015 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship.
