Biography
Norwegian Jewish salesclerk and victim of the Holocaust.
In the the four volume work "Våre Falne [Our Fallen] 1939-1945," commissioned by the Norwegian government in 1945 to commemorate those who had perished during the war, Pintzow's entry is in Volume 3, p. 662.
On 9 April 1940, when Norway was invaded by the Nazis, Pintzow took part in defending Kjeller airport, the main airport of the Norwegian Air Force. He was arrested in October 1942 was part of the Holocaust and imprisoned before being deported to Germany on 26 November 1942 where he froze to death in Auschwitz in January 1943.
