Biography
Venezuelan doctor, writer, poet, essayist, historian, politician and diplomat. He graduated as Doctor of Medicine at the University of the Andes in 1903. He worked as business manager of Venezuela in Uruguay, Colombia, Switzerland, France, Ecuador and Poland. He was Secretary and Chancellor of the University of the Andes (Merida) from 1941 to 1942. He also served as a parliamentarian and was President of the Chamber of Deputies from 1910 to 1920.
He died in Caracas in 1969.
