Biography
German stall spook in combination with Elisabeth Esslinger's spook during the months August 1835 till February 1836. This woman was imprisoned in a dark cell, but appearances were seen in various forms, also by people who didn't know her.
Justinus Kerner wrote a diary about what happened in his house. Nearly every night there were noises like explosions of bottles, shots, crashes, throwing with sand, working with wood. Lights without a form were seen, rushing at the bed was felt. In the night to the 28 January the horse seemed to go out from his stall. Next morning it was seen outside. But the door behind the horse was closed as constructed not to fall back. The spook seemed having acted like a man. The chain had no traces of force which could be used - force would would have broken the chain. Justinus Kerner wrote: "an invisible it" could have done it, as there was no reasonable way concerning the closing of the stall door.
