French hospital doctor, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Bordeaux, lecturer in Venereology, and Member of the Academy of Medicine, elected correspondent for the Division of Medicine on 10 November 1942. He held an MD (Lyon, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, 1895) and was a student at the Military Health Service School. He died on 1 February 1952, aged 80.
