Biography

Case of Swiss woman Margaretha Peter.Born on Christmas 1794 near Schaffhausen, she was the leading head of her pietistic family.Margaretha had a very strong will, the others had to do what she wanted. More and more she believed to be chosen, having to save souls,to struggle with the Anti-Christ. She also imitated in many details the life of Jesus Christ,prayed much but didn't live that way:e.g.she gave away a newborn child to her friend, although she spoke of abstinence.The real tragedy began in march 1823:Margaretha announced the days of decision had come,the fight with the devil. During the next days the family and their friends made immense noise with wood and partly destroyed the house.But,far more dangerous, every day got worse, extreme,till Margaretha on march 15 spoke, now it was time for blood to flow.So she asked Elisabeth if she wanted to die, that way she'd save many souls and three days later she'd be alive anyway. Elisabeth said yes and Ursula killed her.The end for Margaretha came with the crucifixion she had wished for herself.

In the following trial Ursula got 16 years for murder. The main person was missed.
