Ernest Pasquier (1926)


Belgian physicist and astronomer, who translated the Treaty of Determination of the Orbits of the Planets and Comets. He is also known for his work in astronomy and cosmology, particularly geodesy and unification of time. In this respect, he introduced Greenwich time in Belgium along with summer time.

He died at Leuven on 6 April 1926, aged 76.
