Biography
Italian writer and poet (pseudonym Mariù Pascoli), a legatee from a noted family. The sister of the poet Giovanni Pascoli, she assisted him until his death in 1912 and kept his archives for 40 years in the house that bears his name. When she died on 5 December 1953, Maria bequeathed by will "the house, the chapel, the books, the papers of her brother Giovanni, the family memories and other things of the house" to the municipality of Barga.
