Italian neurologist who was professor of clinical semeiology (semiotics) in Naples. His research work focused on acromegaly, myotonia, nerve endings in the tendons, the diaphragm and heart immunity. His publications include Sull'artropatia tabetica (Naples, 1896), Trattato delle malattie nervose e funzionali del cuore (Milan, 1900) and Sulla malattia di Thomsen (Naples, 1907). He died in Naples on 3 March 1918, aged 57.
