Biography
Belgian transgender man who underwent 13 operations from 1969 to 1974 to affirm his gender as male. In 1969 he was prescribed male hormones, in 1970 he had a mastectomy and ovariectomy, and he received a phalloplasty carried out in ten stages, from October 1971 to October 1973. In 1975 he published his autobiography, Il: Danielle Sexe Masculin. He qualified as a lawyer in 1979 at the Free University of Brussels.
