Biography

American bartender exclusively at San Francisco gay bars.

Born in Chicago, he was raised in the Bay Area. His surname, Ognibene, means 'beautiful eyes." He had a pleasant, round face and a tendency to stretch the truth, so it wasn't always possible to believe what he said. Ognibene moved to Stockton in 1988 to be near a sister. When diagnosed HIV+, he became a care worker, a member of the San Joaquin AIDS Foundation, working on the Board of Directors.

He died 10/6/1991of AIDS.
