Scottish-Australian narrative poet and horseman, who arrived in Australia in 1889 returning to Scotland after a decade.
He was an expert station hand, drover and horse breaker, working on Australian outback stations (ranches).
He died on 30 January 1963 at Ashkirk, Selkirk, Scotland.
