Knut Nystedt

Biography

Norwegian orchestral and choral composer. He worked as an organist at the Thorshov Church 1946-1982 and taught choir conducting at the University of Oslo 1964-1985. Nystedt was a founder and the conductor of Det Norske Solistkor ('The Norwegian Soloist Choir') 1950-1990.

Nystedt died on 8 December 2014 in Oslo, Norway, aged 99.
