Biography
Norwegian orchestral and choral composer who worked as an organist at the Thorshov Church from 1946 to 1982 and taught choir conducting at the University of Oslo from 1964 to 1985. Nystedt was a founder and the conductor of Det Norske Solistkor ('The Norwegian Soloist Choir') from 1950 to 1990.
Nystedt died on 8 December 2014 in Oslo, aged 99.
