Biography

Spanish painter and watercolorist of s. Nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, specializing in themes of flowers and landscapes. Belonging to the Malaga School of painting. His family, of working class strove for a child not miss anything and at 18 went to work in the office of auxiliary of railways to play its role until age 30. He enrolled in art school at night to learn drawing, with the teacher Bernardo Ferrandiz that highlighted his skill in drawing and watercolor. In 1888 he became a teacher at the school, where he taught until his retirement in 1910 and was an academician of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Telmo.

He died in Malaga on 28 November 1939.
