French clinical doctor, the head of Clermont-Ferrand's school of medicine and pharmacy, responsible for the public hygiene of the department of Puy-de-Dôme. He was a member of the Académie de Médecine (anatomy and physiology section), elected on 3 May 1871. He died in Clermont-Ferrand on 13 June 1893, aged 84.
