Scottish professional football/soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Northern Premier League side Buxton.

He has previously played for Stenhousemuir, Raith Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Chesterfield, Northampton Town and Grimsby Town.

In 2008 Niven overcame a battle with Testicular cancer.
