French Catholic bishop, who was ordained on 18 December 1966 in the Diocese of Albi.

After being appointed auxiliary bishop of Grenoble and titular bishop of Lambaesis on 10 March 2000, he was consecrated bishop on 7 May. He left this post on 5 March 2004 to become bishop of Périgueux, resigning on 18 June 2014. He remains Emeritus Bishop of Périgueux.
