Biography

French opportunist who was known for being a scholar, pornographer, occultist and a man with, "an answer for everything." As the astrologer friend of Aleister Crowley, he became acquainted with Henry Miller in Paris in 1936. According to Miller, who wrote Moricand's story in "A Devil In Paradise," he was a wretch and scoundrel.

Died in 1954.
