Biography
French businessman, son of industrialist André Michelin, he was the founder and first president in 1911 of the Michelin Sports Association (future SA Montferrand). A resistant during the Second World War, he died in deportation to Buchenwald concentration camp, on 21 January 1945 at age 58. Today, the Marcel-Michelin sports park in Clermont-Ferrand bears his name.
