Biography

American homicide victim who disappeared with her four sons on 8/18/1974 and whose body was discovered on 9/16/1974. The kids were found in a hotel room, abandoned by their father for whom a murder warrant was issued. The father Frank was found and arrested in 8/1975. He confessed the morder and was sentenced to life in prison, together with his lover and - in a bigamist marriage - second wife, Diane Hamill Metzger (born 1949). Diane earned a college degree in prison and became a writer. She is still in prison in 2013.
