Belgian engineer known for having designed and executed the project of establishing the inclined planes of Ans in Liège, and their exploitation by cable and fixed machine.
Henri Maus has also made himself known in the world of science by indicating the means of perforation to be used for the drilling of Mont Cenis, begun in 1854 and completed in 1870.
He died in Brussels on 13 July 1893.
