PTA quotes birth certificater: "Imprint baptism mistakenly lists the birthday of our Master on July 30 instead of July 28. On the day since July 30 the father of Jan Matejko, along with two witnesses stated at the parish office of St. Cross, the son of Francis Matejko, whom they named John Aloysius, was born on onegdajszym day at eleven o'clock at night, and so on 28 July 1838 years "- this date stated the director of the archives of Krakow Dr. Adam Chmiel" [1]
