Biography
French fencer and olympic champion in épée competition.
He received a gold medal in épée individual at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. He received a bronze medal in épée team in 1920, and a silver medal in 1928.
He was president of the Comité National Olympique et Sportif Françaisfrom 1933 to 1967.
He died 9 April 1971.
