Biography
Egyptian physician, known as the father of obstetrics and gynaecology in Egypt and as a pioneer in obstetric fistula.
Naguib Mahfouz was married to Fayka Azmi in 1911. They had a son and four daughters. He died at the age of 92 on 25 July 1974.
