Biography
Prussian princess and member of the House of Hohenzollern, and a niece of Frederick the Great, being the second daughter and third child of Prince August Ferdinand of Prussia by his wife Margravine Elisabeth Louise of Brandenburg-Schwedt.
Luise and her husband Prince Antoni Radziwiłł were popular for their patronage of music, as well as their prominent positions in Berlin society. Luise is also notable for being the mother of Elisabeth Radziwill, the childhood love of future German Emperor Wilhelm I, whose strong desire to marry her was thwarted out of considerations for Elisabeth's inequality of rank.
She died at 3:15pm on 7 December 1836, aged 66, in Berlin.

Source Notes
Sy Scholfield quotes news report from "Amsterdamse courant," 2 June 1770, p. 1: "Berlyn den 26 May. Eergifteren morgen is de Gemaalin van prins Ferdinand, na een Dragt van 7 Maanden, en eenige Onpaslykheden, van eene Prinfes in 't Kraambedde bevallen, welke by den Helligen Doop da Naamen van Fredrica Louifa Dorothea Philippina gekregen heeft." (Berlin, 26 May. The day before yesterday in the morning the consort of Prince Ferdinand, after a 7-month pregnancy, gave birth to a princess at the palace, baptised with the names Fredrica Louisa Dorothea Philippina). A time of 6am is speculative.
Death data from Bayreuther Zeitung, 1836: "Berlin, 8. December. Gestern Nachmittags um ein Viertel auf vier Uhr endete das Leben Ihrer Königlichen Hoheit der Prinzessin Friederike Dorothe Louise Philippine von Preußen..."
