French stage and film actor, also credited as 'Louvigny.'

He appeared in fifty-five French films, including a few short silent films in the period from 1914 to 1917, then between 1931 and 1950 notably alongside Michèle Morgan (eg. in La Symphonie pastorale by Jean Delannoy in 1946) and Bourvil (eg. in Le Cœur sur la main by André Berthomieu in 1949).

He died on 9 February 1951 in Paris, aged 66.
