Biography
French archeologist, who originally trained as an architect.
In 1994, he was appointed by UNESCO as a member of the scientific commission in charge of advising the Lebanese government on the archaelogical dig undertaken before the reconstruction of Beirut's city centre.
He died on 5 March 2000.
