French otologist and neurologist in Lyon, specializing in oto-rhino-laryngology, who took a particular interest in diseases of the nerves. He is known for Gradenigo-Lannois syndrome, a complication of otitis media and mastoiditis involving the apex of the petrous temporal bone. He died in Lyon on 19 September 1942, aged 85.
