American sculptor and performance artist whose art is heavily autobiographical and sociological. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Texas in the 1970s, following that with her MFA from the University of Texas San Antonio in 1978. She has shown her work in many venues in her native state, as well as some outside the United States. She married and raised a family, and lived in New York City for some years. After her return to Texas she became a resident of San Antonio, where she has shown much of her work.
