Jules Lachelier

Biography

French philosopher who defined himself as an intellectualist, his mission being to perpetuate Kant's philosophy. In his famous article, "Psychologie et Métaphysique" (Psychology and Metaphysics), he distinguishes himself from Victor Cousin, giving the milestones of his spiritualist philosophy.

He died on 26 January 1918 in Paris, aged 85.
