Biography
Lucia (6 years old) was found with her brother Leo (2 years old, born 30 September 2010) stabbed to death in the family's apartment in New York on 25 October 2012. The suspected killer was the nanny Yoselyn Ortega (born 1 May 1962 in Dominican Republic). Returning home with her third child Nessie, the mother of the children, Marina Krim, stepped into the bathroom and found her two children dead in the bathtub. Upon turning on the light, she witnessed Ortega stabbing herself in the neck. Ortega has since been charged, in her hospital bed, with first- and second-degree murder.
