Costa Rican merchant, entrepreneur and politician, he was judge of the National Electoral Court in 1948. Koberg becomes independent of his father and created his own business, trade hardware and electrical goods store called prosperous Koberg. Person of progressive ideas, he was a member of the Civic League with other characters as Ricardo Moreno Cañas and Omar Dengo Guerrero, he presented President Cleto González Víquez in 1928 one of the first proposals for a pre-existence of the Costa Rican social security a project prior to the existence of the Costa Rican Institute of Electricity hydroelectric nationalization. He participated in the 1932 elections for president under the banner of the Nationalist Party was essentially a party of protest, highly critical of the major parties of the period to which He accused of being submissive to capital. Koberg later became a member of the National Electoral Court who oversaw the controversial elections of 1948 and was the member who voted against annul the results.
