Rudolf Jung (circa 1910)


German archivist and historian, under whose directorship from 1888 to 1902 the Frankfurt City Archives became the best-equipped and structured archive in Germany.

Jung was the author of numerous works on Frankfurt history. For the Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie (General German biography) he wrote 46 articles.

He died in Frankfurt am Main on 26 April 1922, aged 63.
