Maurice Joyant (Portrait by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, 1900)


French art dealer who organised several exhibitions of the works of his long-term friend, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, including a posthumous retrospective in 1914.

He was depicted by Toulouse-Lautrec in the 1900 oil painting, "Maurice Joyant en baile de Somme."

He died on 6 November 1930 at 12 noon in Le Vésinet.
