Peruvian lawyer and politician. Deputy of Lima (1956-1962) and president of his chamber in two terms (1956-1957). He had five brothers, including two celebrities: TV presenter Enrique "Kiko" Ledgard and swimmer Walter Ledgard (South American champion and world champion master swimming). In the general elections of 1956 he was chosen deputy of Lima, integrating the list of Peruvian Democratic Movement. He was elevated to the presidency of his camera, he held in two terms (1956-1957), while the poet Jose Galvez Barrenechea chaired the Senate. The first law passed by parliament was No. 12654, the "Amnesty Law", which granted political amnesty and pardon and ordered the cutting of all proceedings against all civil and military, prosecuted or convicted by courts martial or every kind as well as the release of all these people.
He died on 9 July 1988.
