Biography
French ballerina and actress onscreen from 1952. Her fabulous shows included "Hans Christian Andersen," "Anything Goes" and "Follies Bergiere."
She married choreographer Roland Petit in Paris and retired. After 15 years of retirement she announced that she would return again in Paris Opera Ballet, staged by her husband, but withdrew prior to the production with a sprained tendon.
On 17 July 2020 she died peacefully at home, in Tolochenaz (Switzerland) at age 96.
