Biography
American pro astrologer. Married for 54 years, with four children and six grandchildren, she died on June 9, 2003 at 1 PM in Cedar Grove, NJ
Helen was an early member of NCGR and of the Northern New Jersey Chapter. One of the astrologers who created NCGR's curriculum, she served for many years on the National Education Committee and later succeeded Joan Negus as National Education Co-Chair.
A hard and selfless worker, Helen served as Treasurer for national conferences and performed many different jobs for the organizations she loved. She also worked as a tour guide for a bus company, taking senior citizens on interstate trips, and collected quite a number of funny stories which she delightfully recounted. In her memory, the NCGR Board voted to rename the Sisyphus Award for Dedicated Service in her memory--now known as the Helen Huber Sisyphus Award, it reminds us of her selfless service.
