Biography

French writer, journalist, left-wing Catholic polemicist and businessman.

In January 1945, he launched the weekly magazine La Vie Catholique Illustree with himself as chief editor.

In 1951, he published another magazine, Radio-Cinema, which later became Telerama.

He published 23 books on such subjects as Albert Camus and Simone de Beauvoir.

He died in Meudon on 29 June 1999.
