American organization designed to help people stop alcohol abuse, Alcoholics Anonymous. It is the time of the last drink that Dr. Bob finished before joining Bill W. in their commitment to establish their organization, which evolved a highly effective 12-step program. As AA members date the birthday of their sobriety from the time of their last drink, this could be the AA chart rather than the proposed one of the meeting time of Bill W. and Dr. Bob.

Ann Parker in her book "Astrology and Alcoholism" quotes this data. It is from records of Bill W. for the time that Dr. Bob had his last bottle of beer, in the car with Bill in front of the hospital before going in to perform surgery. Bob needed the beer to steady his shaking hands.
