Greek disaster, an ongoing series of wildfires which began in the coastal areas of Attica, an administrative region of Greece, that encompasses the entire metropolitan area of Athens, the country's capital and largest city. As of 26 July 2018, 85 people were confirmed dead. At least 164 adults and 23 children were taken to hospital with injuries, including 11 adults in a serious condition.
