Biography
Uruguayan composer, pianist and short story writer, characterized by works of fantasy literature based on personal experiences and real places. In 1943 he traveled to Paris, in its moment of greatest splendor, where he met Maria Luisa de las Heras (aka Africa de las Heras, Spanish, veteran of the Civil War and KGB agent who was tasked to seduce him. In 1949 they married and settled in Montevideo, where she worked as a seamstress and antiques dealer, and concealed her activities and spy network. The following year they divorced, without his knowing the role he played.
