American astrologer who publicly declared himself to be President Bush's astrologer in mid-1991, a claim that was categorically denied by the White House. A veteran of army service, he was a social worker until 1973 when he went on disability due to Parkinson's Disease. He first studied astrology from one month before his 19th birthday.

By 1998, he had been teaching at the Carrol Righters Institute for some 30 years and at Cal-State Northridge for over 20 years. He is an active member of AFA, speaking at their national conventions.

He married on 7/02/1965 and has two adult sons.

Helin died on October 7, 2011 in Los Angeles (CA).
