Biography
Norwegian judge who worked as a lawyer from 1935, and became a prosecutor at the Oslo District Court in 1946. He was also involved with the legal purge in Norway after World War II. In 1952 he was appointed as a Supreme Court Justice, a position he held until his retirement in 1978. He moreover served as leader of the Norwegian Association of Judges, and co-founded and edited the academic journal "Lov og Rett."
His brothers were architect Bernt Heiberg and director Edvard Heiberg.
Heiberg died on 18 May 1988, aged 79.
