Biography
German writer, journalist and lay preacher who had many followers due to his "vagabond novels" of the 1920s and after the Second World War thanks to his numerous essays, poems, the much-read "Martin Stories" and not least his sermons.
He died on 6 August 1986 in Bremen, aged 87.
