Biography

Belgian murderer, he burned his wife and child alive, disguising the crime as an accident, in a life insurance fraud amounting to B7,700,000. He was sentenced to death (a symbolic penalty since 1945, when it was commuted to life imprisonment and currently reduced to 30 years) on 10 June 1991 in Liège.
