American professional baseball player, a right-handed pitcher who worked in 58 games (25 as a starting pitcher) in the Major Leagues between 1942 and 1946 for the Chicago Cubs. He threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) tall and weighed 200 pounds (91 kg) and attended the University of Notre Dame. He died on 8 October 1991, aged 71, in Fargo, North Dakota.
