Biography
American writer, a poet and educator, teaching at UCLA. A noted expert in the field of American trade bindings, Gullans co-authored, with John Espey, "Margaret Armstrong and American Trade Bindings."
Gullans died on 30 May 1993 in Los Angeles, CA, of complications following surgery for lung cancer. He was survived by his sister, Mrs. Lorre Mehlinger.
